RocktheMetro.com was birthed out of necessity. For years I have been continually asked "What's going on tonight?"; "Who's playing this weekend?"; "What kind of live music does Omaha have to offer?", and I have continually wondered these same things myself. Before fans would have to text their friends, check local publications, and scour countless websites only to find a fraction of the actual events happening on any given night in the Metro area... until now.
RocktheMetro.com is your one stop source for all the local music events happening in and around the Omaha Metro area. We are designed with everyone in mind, from fans, to venues, and especially bands. RocktheMetro.com hosts band profiles as well as event venue profiles for FREE! And anyone can add events as there is a series of checks and balances in place. When an event is added, the event creator, as well as the band and venue listed all become administators of that event, thus being able to edit, change, and delete the event as they see fit. We have designed this process to ensure that all event details are as accurate as possible. We also have staff continually checking and adding events to make sure we are as up to date as possible.
This is our initial beta release of RocktheMetro.comas we are continually creating and adding ew features. Below are just some of the features we will be implimenting in the VERY near future.
